December 17, 2009Looking to the futureFirst off, full disclosure: I cannot take responsibility for the information in this blog post. For the sake of giving proper credit where credit is due, this comes from Howard Berger from Hockey Buzz. In this blog post by Berger, he lists some potential changes coming up for the 2010-11 season. They include: • The Buffalo Sabres will mercifully retire the infamous "Buffaslug" and will likely redesign their white away jerseys to match their current alternates, which would become their new regular home jerseys. • The Pittsburgh Penguins will retire their retro alternate uniforms and unveil a new alternate jersey. • The Philadelphia Flyers will replace their current white away uniforms with the uniforms they will wear New Year's Day at Fenway Park in the Winter Classic. No word on whether the black jersey will remain as their alternate. • The New York Islanders will change their white away uniforms, presumably to match their blue alternate home uniforms, which would become their new primaries. • The Nashville Predators are said to make a change of some sort, details of which are unknown at this time. Stay tuned! |
