Chicago Blackhawks Winter Classic jersey unveiled, plus a few new templates

The Chicago Blackhawks have unveiled the jerseys they will be wearing as they take on the Washington Capitals in the 2015 Winter Classic in Washington, DC. As you can see, it bears a striking resemblance to their white jerseys from the 1957-58 season

While I was waiting with baited breath to see what the Blackhawks will be wearing New Year's Day, I spent the last couple weeks redoing the templates from the beginning through the early 1980s. I looked at some photos of jerseys from the earliest days of the NHL and I realized that they were not nearly as bulky as jerseys of today are. Gradually over time, the jerseys got larger. So I re-drew the templates for the jerseys from those early years so that the sizes are more era-specific. Again, it will never be perfect, but I think they're pretty darn close.
