In the previous year, the Wild wore shells over their main pants to cover up the pant stripes whenever they wore their alternate home jersey, which is just about totally devoid of red. To better consolidate the look, the Wild removed the stripes from their main pants for 2010, eliminating the need for the shells. They also changed the shoulder patches on their road jersey.
