2011-13
Always progressive with their uniform designs, the Predators introduced new uniforms prior to the 2011-12 season, featuring a gold home jersey. They are the first team to wear gold as their dark jerseys since the 1966-67 Boston Bruins. Other teams, including the Kings, Seals and Penguins, have worn gold jerseys, but they wore them as their light-colored jerseys.

2013-16
The Predators add a slightly tapered gold stripe to the pants, and they inexplicably reverse the color pattern on their road socks. Previously, the color pattern matched that of the ends of the sleeves. Now, it's reversed.

2016-17
For the 2015-16 season, the Predators introduced a gold helmet that was worn for Saturday home games. It was such a hit that it became their full-time home helmet the following season.

2017-present
The Predators simplify their uniforms and carry over their emphasis of gold onto their road set when the Adidas Adizero uniform system takes hold.
