2022-23 Reverse Retro The Sharks pay tribute to the Bay Area's original NHL franchise, the California Golden Seals, with their Reverse Retro uniform for 2022-23. Even though the Sharks do not recognize the Seals/Barons' statistical history, perhaps they should. The franchise's 1978 merger with the Minnesota North Stars was effectively undone in 1991 when the newly-formed Sharks stocked its roster with half the players from the North Stars organization (mostly from their minor league affiliates). |
