Florida Panthers

1993-98
The Panthers take to the ice in 1993 wearing uniforms of red, white, navy blue and gold.

1998-2003
The names on the back become vertically arched, and a navy blue alternate jersey is introduced. On that jersey, the panther is breaking a stick in half.

2003-06
When the NHL changes to colored jerseys at home, the navy blue jersey becomes the regular home jersey, and the crests on the red and navy jerseys are flip-flopped.

2006-07
The names on the back are now straight across and are reduced in size.

2007-09
The uniforms undergo a subtle change when the Reebok Edge uniform system takes hold.

2009-11
The Panthers introduce a new alternate uniform, featuring a new trim color.

2011-12
The Panthers re-introduce red as their colored uniform, and the piping on both the home and away jerseys disappears.

2013-16
The alternate home jersey introduced three seasons prior is retired, much to the delight of Panthers management.

2016-17
The Panthers completely redesign their uniforms, featuring a logo inspired by the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. Panthers owner Vincent Viola, a graduate of West Point, was a member of the elite infantry division.

2017-present
With elements of the Adidas Adizero already incorporated into their new uniforms, they go almost completely unchanged with the transition to the new uniform system.

Special Event Uniforms

2021 Reverse Retro
The Panthers take their original road uniforms, swap out the red and navy blue elements and swap out the original gold for their current shade of gold.

2022-23 Reverse Retro
The Panthers base their 2022-23 Reverse Retro uniform on their original design, this time giving it a powder blue base in a slightly different shade than the powder blue from their JetBlue alternate uniforms. Also despite being the Panthers, this uniform is devoid of any panther imagery.
